Vivinavi : Niigatashi : (Japan) Niigatashi

This year marks the 40th running of the Niigata City Marathon.
This event was selected as one of the top 100 running events in Japan （ in the June 2024 issue of RB's "Monthly Runners" ） and has continued to grow and develop with local residents. There are three events: a 42.195 km marathon starting at DENKA Big Swan Stadium and finishing at Niigata City Athletic Field, a 10.6 km fun run, and a universal run that runs a 2 km round-trip course from Furumachi Crossroads to Bandai Bridge Higashizume and back. The course will take runners through the city center area, including Bandai Bridge and Masaya Koji, which symbolize "Minato-machi Niigata," and along the rich waterfront with views of the Shinano River and the Sea of Japan. At the finish line of the full marathon and fun run, finisher's towels, jumbo rice balls, and freshly baked rice cakes will be served to all runners who have completed the race.

If you are thinking of entering a full marathon for the first time, the time limit is 7 hours for beginners. You can join the fun run with your friends and colleagues ！ or join the universal run with your parents and children ！ Entry is open until July 15 （ Monday ・ Celebration ）, first come, first served, so don't delay ！ We look forward to receiving your entries.
